Rediscover Joy and Healing Together

We believe that healing should be accessible and grounded. Inner Child Camp is able to keep our retreat affordable by accepting health insurance since we are operated by licensed therapists. We are heavily focused on somatic, play, art, music, eco, and sports therapy. Our goal is to provide a healthy way for adults to tap into, and heal their inner child through various therapies built into the program, surrounded by nature, and with other big kids!

Camp Counselors

Meet the folks who make Inner Child Camp fun!

Zara Roth, LPC, MA, CADC

Hi! My name's Zara and I'm the founder of Inner Child Camp. I started this retreat as someone who never went to summer camp and missed many parts of my childhood. I've been a professional therapist who specializes in anxiety, depression, borderline personality disorder, trauma, addiction, and ADHD since 2021. I hold a graduate degree in mental health counseling from Northwestern University and hope to bring my experience, knowledge, and skills to inner child camp as a "counselor." My hobbies include tennis, skiing, traveling, cooking, and EDM. What are your hobbies?

Rebecca Lundberg, MA, QMHP

I have B.A. degrees in Fine Arts and German language, with three years of additional study in Early Childhood Education and Dance. I am a Certified Chiropractic Assistant and Rehabilitative Pilates Instructor. I am currently pursuing a Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. My career journey has included working with at-risk youth, adults with memory loss, physical rehabilitation for injuries and chronic conditions, landscape design, and arts education. As a native Oregonian, I’ve developed a love for soggy hikes and chilly beaches.

My approach is integrative and collaborative, with connection and compassion at the forefront. I have training in and integrate interventions from a number of therapeutic orientations, including Attachment Theory, Psychodynamic, Existential, Mindfulness, Person-Centered, Relational-Cultural, DBT, Art and Play therapies. I see therapy as an opportunity to explore the unique, complex ways our bodies and minds have adapted to the world around us. I want to really listen to you, and support you as we examine the core beliefs, value systems, and narratives that you carry. Because there is no single approach that is right for everyone, we will work together to create a process that supports you on your journey of exploration, growth, and self-compassion.

Hi, I’m a licensed therapist who specializes in children’s play therapy by day—and by summer, I’m here to help adults tap into the same magic of play, imagination, and emotional freedom. My work is rooted in the belief that play isn’t just for kids—it’s a powerful tool for healing, connection, and self-discovery at any age.

At camp, I create safe, welcoming spaces where grown-ups can explore their inner worlds, shed some emotional armor, and rediscover the joy of being fully present. Expect lots of laughter, creative expression, and maybe even some surprising insights along the way. Whether we’re building trust in a group circle or just rolling around in a field like kids again, I’m here to help you feel seen, supported, and totally free to be yourself.

Let’s play, process, and grow—together.
